Medicine in Transition

The medicine of the future is increasingly returning to its Hippocratic roots – the active strengthening of natural health resources. The focus of medical action is not the suppression of disease “pathogenesis”, but rather its prevention and the active support of health resources “salutogenesis“.

Accordingly, the salutogenic medicine is not only focused on the lifespan, but rather on the extension of healthspan, respectively, on the promotion of health, the strengthening of resilience factors and maintaining the quality of life.

„The most effective medicine is the natural healing power that can be activated inside each of us”.
Hippocrates

The transformation of the latest findings from systems biology basic research promotes the development of novel, health medicine treatment concepts and a re-evaluation of classical naturopathic therapy methods. The main focus is on the active support of the body’s own regulation of organ systems as well as the targeted and sustainable regeneration of vital cell and organ tissues.

Plague of the 21st century

Due to the dramatic increase of diseases with chronic inflammatory and/or auto-immunogenic genesis, experts already speak of the “plague of the 21st century”. In addition to these clinical pictures, mental disorders, states of exhaustion and dementia syndromes are increasingly attributed to the persistent dysregulation of the immune system.

Chronic inflammatory diseases, Incidence development; Morbus Crohn, Allergy, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes Type I
We would like to invite you to our Human Medical Days 2023 in Bingen to discuss together with our top-class speakers possible reasons for the strong increase of chronic-inflammatory and autoimmunological diseases as well as novel salutogenic therapy strategies.

Human Medical Days in Bingen

The Human Medical Days were first launched 12 years ago on the initiative of Stephanie Dreyer. From the beginning, its central intention was to build bridges between practical medicine and clinical research to promote a salutogenic integrative medicine of the future. In this tradition, the event has since established itself as an internationally recognized medical-scientific forum for physicians, therapists and researchers, but also for interested laypersons and patients.

Focus for both days: SIGNIFICANCE OF IMMUNOLOGICAL REGULATION AND REGENERATION FOR OUR HEALTH

Program

Saturday, 23 September

08:30 Registration

09:00 – 10:30

Prof. Dr. med. Uwe Rudolf Max Reuter

Medical Director and Head Physician of the “Klinik im LEBEN” in Greiz, honorary professor in the field of naturopathy at the
Anhalt University

Integrative Natural Medicine in the context of immunological regulation and regeneration – experiences with the integration of organ peptides

Chronic diseases are on the rise, especially in industrialised continuously. Previous therapy concepts do not show any significant progress. This is where Integrative Natural Medicine comes in. On the basis of comprehensive integrative examination methods such as biocheck, extended immunodiagnostics, metabolic tests etc., it not only enables a deeper understanding of the dysregulation of organ systems and the development of chronic diseases, but also of individually oriented holistic treatment concepts. This includes, among other things, an effective elimination causes, supplementation of the metabolism, stimulation of energy, immunoregulatory therapies and the harmonisation of soul and spirit.

10:45 – 12:15

Dr. med. Adrian Stoenescu

Private practice for “Cause of Disease Medicine”, Wuppertal

Cause of Disease Medicine – there must be a reason

For a cause-related therapy is a preceding medical diagnosis important in order to be able to treatment measures accordingly. A red guideline for therapists is by presenting the most important six causes for most diseases. These are: 1. intestine, 2. pathogen, 3. spine, 4. stress all-in, 5. environmental toxins/teeth, 6. genetics.

12:15 – 14:00
LUNCH BREAK

14:00 – 15:30

Dr. rer. nat. Kirsten Beurer

Advanced training in health medicine, graduate biologist and doctorate in biochemistry

Radicals promote regeneration, but also inflammation: “The dose makes the difference”

Physiologically, free radicals are primarily formed within the scope of energy transformation. If they accumulate in body tissue, they are able to destroy cellular and molecular structures. For this reason, the organism has antioxidant protective systems, which can neutralise radicals. If these systems are overloaded, the resulting oxidative stress triggers inflammatory reactions in particular. This creates a vicious circle that can be broken with naturopathic methods.

16:00 – 17:30

Gisela Peters1 and Dr. med. Omar La Rosa2

1Health practitioner, practice for integrative health medicine with a focus on system diagnostics electroacupuncture according to Dr. Voll (EAV) and bioresonance procedures; 2Medical Director of the Panama Clinic for Integrative Medicine, Panama

Dysregulated inflammatory process: The inflammatory Reflex

The nervous system has the ability to reflexively intervene in inflammatory processes and modulate the immune response. It is interconnected via neuronal immunological processes. Scientists have found out, that cholinergic neurons are able to inhibit inflammation. Via a neuronally controlled inflammatory reflex, the nervous system is able to intervene, e.g. in the case of dysregulated inflammatory reactions. This lecture describes clinical correlations, therapeutic procedures and patient cases from medical practice.

ab 18:00
Get-Together „Get-together“ in the Hildegard Garden – Get to know each other an exchange experiences

Sunday, 24 September

08:30 Admission

09:00 – 10:30

Univ.-Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Michael Huber

Director of the Institute for Biochemistry and Molecular Immunology, RWTH Aachen

Is chronic inflammation the plague of the 21st century?

The term “inflammation” wrongly has negative connotations. On the contrary, the process of acute inflammation is an urgently important step, that allows our immune system to successfully fight off microbial pathogens. The situation is completely different with chronic inflammatory processes, which are the basis for hundreds of millions of cases of type 2 diabetes worldwide. Besides genetic predisposition lifestyle (e.g. diet, exercise, smoking) plays a central role. This discussion will present the interactions between metabolism, chronic inflammation, the immune system and the intestinal microbiome. Finally, new scientific data on nutrition and ageing will be discussed.

11:00 – 12:30

Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Skutella

Head of the Department of Neuroanatomy of the Institute of Anatomy and Cell Biology, University of Heidelberg

Regeneration with vesicle-based therapy through partial reprogramming and targeted differentiation

The advent of reprogramming technology enables the use of iPSCs in combination with established protocols for directed differentiation protocols to rejuvenate adult stem cells. Improvements in reprogramming methods have increased the efficiency of iPSC derivation and the quality of the iPSC lines used. The generation of immunocompetent cells from iPSCs continues to improve the quality for extracellular vesicle -based therapy.

12:30 – 14:00
LUNCH BREAK

14:00 – 14:45

Gunter Schlegel

Private practice with focus on health medicine, oncology, nutrition, microbiological therapy and micro-immunotherapy, Freiburg-Tiengen

Low dose immunotherapy: Regulation of the immune system through specific information modulation

The lecture shows important interfaces between the innate and acquired immune system as pacemakers for the progression of infections and/or chronic degenerative diseases. It is shown how the immune system regains its natural efficiency in defending against pathogens with the help of Low dose immunotherapy through the targeted transmission of information.

15:00 – 15:45

Dr. med. Bernd Hildenbrand

Chairman of the Leonardis Foundation, Head of the Research Network Molecular Cell and Immunotherapy, Head of the Centre for Health Research and Health Medicine, Herbolzheim in the Breisgau region

Next Generation Biologics – from the past into the future

The lecture will build a bridge from the biophysical and systems biology of life to the development of novel biologics for the promotion of immunological regulation and regeneration. The aim ist to counteract chronic inflammatory diseases and to develp individual resilience factors in the sense of a salutogenetically balanced medicine.
